Terms & Conditions

Our Place invite individuals from all industries, backgrounds and geographical locations to access our training courses. We therefore provide the below terms and conditions to ensure a fair and legal sales process for our customers/learners.

Our Place Training is part of Our Place Community Hub Community Interest Company Limited by Guarantee and established in 2011. Full contact information can be found on our Contact Us page.

The training we provide is all approved by either CPD UK or Open College West Midlands and has therefore been verified to ensure it meets required standards. Our training is based on Mentoring, Mental Health and Mentoring; areas which our facilitators have a depth of experience in enabling them to deliver full and meaningful training experiences.

As a Community Interest Company Our Place Community Hub CiC do not collect VAT and therefore do not charge VAT on our courses. The price of our courses is detailed on our website, each course is costed according to the duration of training, resources required and accreditation overheads. On occasions we will offer reduced rates for training courses, these are available to anyone. To qualify for reduced rates customers/learners must state where they have seen the offer on booking a place. Special offers cannot be added after booking has been made.

Payment for courses can be made via BACS, cheque or cash, further payment details are included on invoices.

We do not offer refunds for customers/learners that can no longer attend a course. We do offer the opportunity to transfer to another course subject to availability. In the event that a training course cannot go ahead after being booked the customer/learner will be entitled to a full refund or the opportunity to move on to another course date.
